Trade, Business Wine Education LA Wine Fest June 4th-5th 2010 Regardless of how you measure it, LAWineFest 2009 was a huge success. Over two days the festival saw thousands of attendees enjoying wines from wineries pouring over 500 wines, beers, and spirits. They also got a chance to see a variety of lifestyle vendors with a large selection of items to add to wine drinking and enjoyment. The LAWineFest.com web site now has photos of the event posted. We wish to thank everyone who made the this year's event a spectacular two days. We're looking forward to an even bigger and better event for July 4-5 in 2010. -----
Joel M. Fisher, President, CEO, LA WineFest, had a vision for a consumer wine event with broad appeal. That vision was revealed in 2006 with the Inaugural LAWine Fest! Since then, the LA WineFest has soared to the 4th Annual LA WineFest 2009! Fisher is the Sommelier for the Escoffier Association of Southern California, founding partner of Wine, Vine and Dine and member of the Patterson Magazine Tasting Panel. An educator and author with a PHD, Dr. Fisher has taught for the Culinary Arts Program at the Art Institute of California, is a member of the Society of Wine Educators, The Circle of Wine Writers, UK. His current book “The Wine Work Book” is in its 6th edition. Dr. Fisher can be heard on radio programs nationally sharing his knowledge and love of wine. He continues his work as a wine educator privately in the United States and Europe.

He was a Contributing Editor of Patterson's Beverage Journal. From 1999 to 2006 he was a wine instructor for the Culinary Arts Department of the Art Institute of California-Los Angeles and is a founding partner of the educational Wine Vine and Dine, which conducts programs throughout Southern California. Sommelier for the Escoffier Association of Southern California, Joel is also a member of Patterson Magazine's tasting panel.
